alternative dispute resolution equine law

ADR is often an option parties like to explore in order to avoid the stress and potential cost of court.

When negotiation fails and conflict becomes a full dispute, parties often assume their only option is to litigate. However, litigation can be extremely costly, time consuming and stressful.

Courtroom litigation can be avoided by choosing ADR. The core aim of ADR is to assist disputing parties to settle their case outside of the traditional court process, through mediation. Case settlement is high, but where this is not possible the process assists the parties to clarify the core issues in dispute enabling a quicker trial.

Daltons have strong links with qualified civil mediator and horse owner/rider Claire Webb who is well known for her commitment to alternative methods of dispute resolution. Your matter would be referred to Claire in consultation with Daltons.

Claire offers ADR at a fixed rate of £750 +VAT for a maximum time of five hours. Any time required over and above five hours will be charged at a rate to be agreed with Claire.
