We are property specialists and as such can advise you on all types of property transactions. Whether you are selling your 4-acre pony paddock, buying a 100 acre polo estate or renting a livery yard it is vitally important that your legal adviser is a specialist in equestrian properties and the world of horses. The reason for this being that not only is it essential that your legal adviser understands your requirements in practice, but also needs to ensure equestrian sector specific requirements are drafted into general property law documents.
Please see our factsheets for further information on property transactions.
We offer an initial free consultation. Please feel free to contact us at anytime to discuss your proposed transaction. From this consultation we will generally be able to provide you with a costs estimate.
Before we start work for you, it will be necessary for us to ask you for identification so we may comply with our money laundering obligations. And we will also require you to sign our terms and conditions of business.
TIP: Get things in writing! The amount of low-scale property transactions, such as grazing agreements, tenancy agreements and business tenancies that are not formally recorded in writing and signed by both parties is countless. It is so important to formally document any type of legal transaction no matter how much you ‘trust’ the other party. Disputes are a common occurrence and when it relates to land and property there is a huge amount of value at stake.
